Note: You can follow this guide only if you have previously configured your server using EasyESP.

Easy Email Form Verifier

-First get your EasyEFV-

1.

 

 

Copy the following script and paste it in the ‘area to be used once only’ below.
Between the quotation marks change The_URL_of_the_Easy_Email_Form_Verifier with the ‘Easy Email Form Verifier’ URL received via e-mail.
Then select, copy, ‘Right Click’ on PuTTY window and hit Return to install EasyEFV on your server.
When request copy your License Key received via e-mail, ‘Right Click’ to paste and hit Return.
Then hit y to continue and hitReturn.
When the script it’s finished to running, the last line looks like this:  root@alter:/#      

wget -q --restrict-file-names=unix "The_URL_of_the_Easy_Email_Form_Verifier" -O easyefv.sh.x && cd && chmod +x easyefv.sh.x && ./easyefv.sh.x

Copy the following script and paste it in the ‘area to be used once only’ below.
Just change sendy at the end of the script, only if the name of the folder where your Sendy is installed is different.
Then select, copy, ‘Right Click’ on PuTTY window and hit Return to run it.

Copy this script and paste it on the ‘area to be used once only’ below to change 123.234.456.678, alter.withyourdomain.com , alter@withyourdomain.com and sendy (if necessary), with yours, select all, copy and run.

4.  Get reCAPTCHA V2 ‘Site Key’ and ‘Secret Key’ for your site

Use FileZilla to download config.php file from /root folder to your Desktop.
Open the file Desktop → config.php in Notepad++ and set up it with your credentials.
Using FileZilla go to the folder /var/www/sendy/includes/ and delete the existent config.php.
Then upload the modified config.php from your Desktop in /var/www/sendy/includes/.
Now you can delete /root/config.php.

Finally, but very important, run this script:

chmod u+x dslib.pl
service apache2 restart
apt-get update

Edit form.html file, located in /var/www/sendy/:

– form action=”https://sendy.withyourdomain.com/easyefv” → with your sendy.domain.com.
– data-sitekey=”dNabBSyoZdNabBSyoZdNabBSyoZdNa-dNabBSyoZ” → with your reCAPTCHA V2 ‘Site Key’.
– input type=”hidden” name=”list” value=”ABCDEFG12345678“/ → with your list ID.
– style=”transform:scale(0.57);-webkit-transform:scale(0.57); → increasing or decreasing the value 0.57, you can scale the reCAPTCHA box.

Then go to: https://sendy.withyourdomain.com/form.html.
This is a basic form to which you can add any style you want, and place it in your site.

Tips: You can create Popups using PopupPress plugin.
You can create Widgets using Insert HTML Snippet plugin with VISUAL EDITOR TO WORDPRESS.

8.

 

 

To uninstall EasyEFV, in order to reinstall it on the same server or on a different server, run this script.
When request copy your License Key received via e-mail, ‘Right Click’ to paste and hit Return.
